Term 2 Week 10

This week was Mr Dewars last week at Tawa School and it was great that he spent some of his week in Room 14 reading stories to the students.

On Thursday we looked at floating and sinking. The students found objects from around the class and they had to make a prediction if they would float or sink. The students then placed the items into the container of water to see what happened. It was amazing to hear the students explaining why they thought the object had floated or sunk.

This week during investigation time the students have been creating tents out of the wooden blocks and sheets.

The students showed amazing respect and responsibility at assembly practices and the farewell assembly this week, so as a reward we went outside to do some fun relay races.

Another part of Room 14's reward this week was to have a shared hot chip lunch.

For Friday's Ready Steady Go art we created a starry nightscape picture.

Congratulations on graduating from Room 14. We have loved having you in our class and know that you will continue to be a super star in Room 8. Please come and visit us!
