This week we celebrated Ambroise turning five in Room 14.
On Tuesday we had our first Kapa Haka Session with our new tutors Te Rehia and Liz. The Room 14 students joined in with lots of enthusiasm and passion.
We continued with our swimming lessons this week and it was great to see so many confident swimmers in Room 14. We also learnt about water safety and how we could help rescue a friend in trouble.
This week was New Zealand sign language week and throughout the course of the week we have been learning to spell out our names in sign.
We have had lots of fun learning together during investigation times and have found lots of ways to practice our gross and fine motor skills.
Mothers day is coming up this weekend. We spent some time talking about, writing about and drawing pictures of our AMAZING mothers. We hope all the Room 14 mothers have a wonderful day on Sunday and that your super star children spoil you.
