This week our provocation has been flight. The children have been very busy designing, trialling and adapting a variety of 'flying machines'. This provocation has included measurement, technology and lots of design skills.

On Wednesday, we had swimming sports. Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who came along to support the children. We were super impressed by the way everyone gave everything a go and tried their best. Great attitude Room 14 students.
One of our writing tasks this week was to design and describe a 'Fun Bus'. We had some great imagination and creativity in our illustrations and bus designs.
On Friday we had our first Ready Steady Go visitors for Term Three. The children participated in a paper collage art activity making bears. It was great to see our older students being nice friends to the visitors and to see everyone working hard with their art work.
We continue to have superstar mathematicians in Room 14 who are finding new ways to show their knowledge of addition and subtraction facts.
On Friday we were very fortunate to have some older students from Room Two help us with PMP. What great role models we have at Tawa School.
