Last week Room 14 welcomed student teacher Christina to our class. She will be teaching in Room 14 until the end of the term.
Investigation time this week has been full of wonderful learning experiences.
On Wednesday Room 14 hosted assembly here are a few video highlights
On Wednesday we did a science experiment during Investigation time. We put milk and drops of food colouring onto a plate. We then added cotton balls that had been soaked in dish washing liquid and watched what happened to the colours.
On Thursday as part of the maths strand of measurement the students used maths cubes to measure how tall, long or wide different items were.
Over the last two Friday's we have been working on our dinosaur pictures. Last Friday we started off with guided drawing of the dinosaurs. The students then painted a two colour background. This Friday we added extra details to our backgrounds.
