Term 1, Week 6

We have had another exciting week in Room 14.

We started the week with the Rhythm Interactive show.

It was so much fun having our own drums and following beats and rhythms.

On Tuesday we joined some other schools at the Tawa School sports day.
We participated in lots of different sports.  Our teachers were so proud of how respectful and responsible we were.
A special thank you to the parent helpers who walked with us to St Francis Xavier School.
Our provocation this week has been Nga Tae (Colours and colour mixing).  We have been doing lots of great activities and using a variety of materials.  We have learnt about mixing primary colours to make secondary colours and have also been learning the colour names in Te Reo Māori.
Have a look at some of the fun and messy activities we have been doing.

For Friday arts we drew Rainbow Fish.  We  had to make our shapes large to fill the page.  We then used pastel and dye to complete our pictures. We have some very talented artists in Room 14!
