Happy birthday to Esther, Faith and Milan this week. All of the students in Room 14 have now turned five.
This week our provocation has been 'Around the world' and 'Where do we come from?'
We have been involved with a variety of activities from different countries.
We have also loved hearing all the children share about their cultures and languages.
We have also had lots of other exciting Investigations going on. We have particularly enjoyed watching children choosing to write and create.
On Thursday we learnt the correct technique for overarm throws and practiced this using tennis balls, Vortex and Quiots.
On Friday we had a fun day dressed up in our pyjamas.
For Friday arts we read the story Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and then the students made their very own colourful coconut trees. Each coconut represented a letter from the students name.
What a super busy week Room 14. Those are beautiful coconut trees. :-)
